Allow me to share a few pictures of my family and relatives.

Here you see (left-to-right) my brother Walter, my mother, myself, my father, and my sister Inge.

My aunt Helene Skopil walks with my grandmother (on my father's side) and her other daughter Marie Kresse over the bridge right near the church. Notice my uncle Mathias' clothing store in the background.

My grandmother Ana Marek (on my mothers side) takes me to church on a January Sunday morning. We are near the church. Notice the castle at the end of the street in the back.

Here is my favorite cousin Herta Kautz sitting next to me on the table. Her mother Mitzi is my mothers sister. Next to her is Herta's brother Pepi. My mother sits in the chair on the right of the picture. My cousin and her family lived in Vienna and came to visit us in Gottschee at least once a year.

Going left to right, you see me with my father. Next to him are another father/son pair. Both are named Alois Kresse. They are my uncle and cousin on my father's side. The old Alois Kresse was a merchant, The younger one was an entrepreneur. He built a garment factory next door to our house. The picture was taken on the terrace of the Kresse home/factory.
